Break

So Christmas 2011 is history. Already, people are taking down their trees and spending their gift cards on post Christmas deals. But it was a great holiday spent in worship of Immanuel and remembering that the beauty of God's plan was worked out to perfection. I pray that these days were great for you and your families. Until January 2 I will taking a break from the blog to spend time with my family. The Lord calls us to rest in Him and it is time for a change of pace. Come back on Monday when we will pick up 2 Samuel and the story of David once again. I pray that this week allows you a chance for a change of pace as well and that you find your rest in the Savior. Psalm 121 1 I lift up my eyes to the hills. There are numerous passages I cling to when stress takes over my life. I would be hard pressed to declare a favorite, but this psalm would come close.
