Worth Your Time

For New Year's Day, how about something different. A friend of mine (thanks, Jen!) shared this link with me a couple of weeks ago. It is a sermon preached by Ronnie Smith, a minister at the Austin Stone Community Church in Austin, TX. Ronnie was killed about a month ago as he was serving as a missionary in Libya. You may have heard the story on the news. He was shot as he was out jogging. He was wrapping up his time in Libya and would have joined his wife and children just a couple of days later, but was killed before he could leave to celebrate the holidays back in the U.S. This message was presented by him before he left for the mission field. I found it inspiring, uplifting, and totally worth the 30 minutes it takes to watch it. I've seen it several times now and it moves me every time.
